Please read these terms carefully before using echo99.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of echo99 (the "Service"), operated by Wirenode s.r.o. ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of the Terms, then you may not access the Service.

1. The Service

echo99 is a software-as-a-service platform that records virtual meetings on services such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet. It generates transcripts, summaries and basic analytics to help you recall what was discussed. The Service is provided on an "as is" basis and may change over time.

2. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for your account and for any activity occurring under it. You agree to:

  • Ensure that all meeting participants are aware that the call will be recorded, transcribed and summarised.
  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Keep your account credentials secure and notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

Age Requirement: You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the Service and that your parent or guardian has read and agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Record meetings without the consent of all participants where such consent is required by applicable law.
  • Store, share or transmit any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Store or transmit content that infringes any intellectual property rights or other rights of third parties.
  • Engage in spam, harassment, phishing, or any malicious activities.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise derive the source code of the Service.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or any systems or networks connected to the Service.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or the data contained therein.

4. Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, if:

  • You breach any provision of these Terms.
  • We are required to do so by law.
  • We reasonably believe your use of the Service poses a security risk or may cause harm to other users or third parties.

You may delete your account at any time through the Service interface or by contacting us at support@echo99.app. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.

5. Service Availability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or without interruption. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice.

The Service relies on third-party providers, including but not limited to Recall.ai for meeting recording infrastructure, and the conferencing platforms themselves (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams). We are not responsible for any disruptions, limitations, or failures of these third-party services. Changes to third-party APIs or terms of service may affect the functionality of our Service.

6. Data Ownership & Privacy

All recordings, transcripts and summaries generated through the Service remain your property. We store your data securely and do not use it to train large language models. You may download or delete your recordings at any time through the Service interface. Our collection and use of personal data is further described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Subscriptions & Payment

The Service may be offered under free or paid subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan you agree to pay the applicable fees and taxes. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We may change pricing or add new services from time to time; we will give you reasonable notice of any significant changes.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features and functionality (excluding your data) are and will remain the exclusive property of Wirenode s.r.o. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You agree not to remove, alter or obscure any proprietary notices.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Wirenode s.r.o. and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use or misuse of the Service.
  • Your violation of these Terms.
  • Your violation of any applicable law or regulation, including recording laws and data protection regulations.
  • Your recording of meetings without obtaining proper consent from all participants where required by law.
  • Any content you upload, store, or transmit through the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Wirenode s.r.o., its directors, employees or partners, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, use or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with the Service. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Service is to stop using it.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability shall not affect any other provision of these Terms, which shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving the parties' original intent.

12. Modifications to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date below. By continuing to access or use the Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the competent courts of the Czech Republic.
